Blanton Hamilton
Managing Director
Blanton is a Co-Founder and Partner of Hamilton Property Company, where he oversees development activities and new business opportunities. He is also a Co-Founder and Partner of Tribek Properties, a privately owned real estate development and investment firm with more than $500 million in assets.
Prior to founding Hamilton Property Company and Tribek Properties, Blanton worked at Childress Klein Properties and in investment banking at SunTrust.
Blanton earned an MBA from the University of Virginia and a BSBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is an Angel Flight volunteer pilot and the founder and benefactor of the Hamilton Family Scholarship Fund for the Disability Resource Center at the University of Georgia and the Edgar Blanton Hamilton, III Narcolepsy Research Fund at Stanford University.
Wake Hamilton
Director
Wake is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Hamilton Property Company. He manages the firm's day-to-day operations, sources new opportunities, maintains capital relationships, and oversees the execution of each project's business plan.
Prior to founding Hamilton Property Company, Wake worked in U.S. Real Estate at The Carlyle Group, one of the world's largest alternative asset management and investment firms. He previously worked at Atlanta Property Group, a regional owner-operator of office and industrial properties.
Wake earned a BA in Economics and History from the University of Virginia. He serves on the Alumni Council at Charlotte Country Day School and the Advisory Board of the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, and he is a member of the Jefferson Scholars Foundation's Shadwell Society.
Anita Shahdad
Director
Anita is the Financial Controller for Hamilton Property Company, where she manages the firm's reporting, bookkeeping, accounting, lease administration, and property management functions.
A native of London, England, Anita began her commercial real estate career in airport management, working on construction teams for British Airports Authority's Terminal 5 and Gatwick Airport's North Terminal projects. She moved to the United States with Piedmont Airlines in 1985 and has since worked with Southern Real Estate, The Chambers Group, and Tribek Properties.
Anita holds real estate broker licenses in North Carolina and South Carolina and is a licensed General Contractor. She also volunteers with the Dove's Nest program, helping women build successful futures.
Charles Petrie
Investor Relations
Charles brings more than 20 years of experience in financial product distribution and has raised billions of dollars across mutual funds, ETFs, OCIO structures, hedge funds, and private markets. His background spans product distribution and business development, including six years as a General Partner at a successful hedge fund, where he gained significant exposure to private markets and digital assets.
Throughout his career, Charles has built and maintained a national network of registered investment advisors, financial advisors, and industry partners. His client-first approach and broad perspective encompass both public- and private-market solutions.
Charles holds FINRA Series 3, 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
Thomas Hunter
Analyst
Thomas is an Investment Analyst for SouthStar Investment Management. His experience includes wealth management, venture capital, and sales with organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to local startups.
Thomas graduated from Furman University in May 2026 with degrees in Finance and Religious Studies. Thomas lives in Simpsonville, South Carolina, with his wife.
Greg Hunter
Advisor
Greg serves as an Advisor and brings 34 years of experience in institutional investment management. Throughout his career, he has stewarded billions of dollars on behalf of pension plans and foundations.
In addition to his institutional investment experience, Greg has served as a General Partner in 16 commercial real estate transactions.
Greg attended Wake Forest University and has remained active in educational and community leadership. He has served on the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center Board of Visitors and Capital Campaign Committee, as a board member of the Roberto Clemente Health Clinic, as past chairman of the Pfeiffer University Board of Trustees — where he chaired the presidential search committee — and as past chairman of the Parish Ministry Fund at Duke Divinity School.
