This notice describes how SouthStar Investment Management, LLC ("SouthStar") handles information collected through this website. It covers the website only and does not modify the Important Disclosures or any Offering Documents.

Contact inquiries

When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you provide (name, email address and, if given, phone number, firm, investor type, area of interest, how you heard about us, and your message). We use it to respond to your inquiry and to manage our investor relationships. To do so, the inquiry is stored in our website database, delivered to our team by email through SendGrid (Twilio), a confirmation email is sent to the address you provide, and the contact is recorded in our customer relationship management system, Attio.

To understand how visitors find us, the form also includes the first page you landed on during your visit, the address of the page that linked you to us (the referrer), and any campaign parameters (UTM codes) in that first link. This information is kept in your browser's session storage only, is not used for tracking, and is sent to us only if you choose to submit the form.

IP addresses

To limit spam and repeated submissions, the IP address of a contact form submission is converted into a one-way, salted hash before it is stored. We do not store the raw IP address with your inquiry.

Visitor analytics (Leadfeeder / Dealfront) — only with your consent

With your permission, we use Leadfeeder, a service provided by Dealfront, to understand which organizations visit our website. If you accept, a Leadfeeder script is loaded that sets cookies and processes your IP address and pages viewed, which Dealfront may use to identify the company associated with your network.

The Leadfeeder script is not loaded, and no data is sent to Leadfeeder, unless you select "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you decline or make no choice, it is not loaded. Dealfront's handling of this data is described in its own privacy notice.

Website usage analytics (Google Analytics) — only with your consent

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors arrived. If you accept, a Google script is loaded that sets cookies and processes your IP address and pages viewed. Google's handling of this data is described in its own privacy notice.

The Google Analytics script is not loaded, and no data is sent to Google, unless you select "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you decline or make no choice, it is not loaded. Visits from our own team are excluded from measurement.

Other storage on your device

Your cookie choice, the date it was made and the version of this notice are stored in your browser's local storage so we can respect it on later visits.

Changing or withdrawing consent

You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the website footer or the button below. If you withdraw consent, the page reloads and neither Leadfeeder nor Google Analytics is loaded again. Cookies previously set by these services can also be removed through your browser settings.
